Oh, my goodness. When you combine wonderful accuracy and drop-dead-gorgeous looks, you end up with something like this Anschutz 1418:
If you don’t win the smallbore competition with this rifle, you have only yourself to blame… and at just under $1,300 at Collectors, you’d better be a keen competitor.
I know, the hogsback stock is not a particular favorite among my Readers; but it finds great favor with me—hence its inclusion in the GGPs—and the double set trigger and full-length Mannlicher-style stock just complete the trifecta.
To me, then, this is just about the perfect rifle.
Now… where did I put that winning lottery ticket?
