Brief Explanation

In case anyone’s wondering why else there’s little bloggage today, allow me to explain:

The Mrs.: chained to the corporate hamster-wheel.
Son&Heir: ditto.
Daughter: was chained to the corporate hamster-wheel until she got a stomach bug of some sort, then came home and is groaning in bed.
#2 Son: is probably the origin of said stomach bug, and is also groaning in bed, when he’s not throwing up.

Outside: a freshly-delivered load of 5 yards of shale which has to be spread over the ex-lawn of the front yard.

Who’s left to do it: Your Humble Narrator.

Blogging may resume this evening, if ever I get my breath back. Okay, break time over: back to the salt shale mines, in 20-minute increments.
