One of my longtime Readers, a commissioned Army officer, wrote to me a while ago with a disturbing observation. He has seen evidence, over the last few years, of what he calls the “Christianization” of the Armed Forces—most specifically, the Army.
In short, it appears as though there is a move afoot among some officers, junior and senior alike, to turn the Armed Forces into “Christ’s Army”—that our mission, in other words, is not to combat terrorism and the roots thereof, but to conquer and subdue the infidel.
He supplied me with enough supporting data to cause me concern.
I would like to hear from my Readers currently serving in the Armed Forces—and ONLY those who are currently serving, or recently discharged or invalided out—with their opinions and observations on this topic. I am NOT interested in responses from anyone else, or third-party observations.
Send me email, please (note, Comments are closed on this post), to kim - at - kimdutoit—dot—com, with the subject line “Christian Army”.
