As usual, Stratfor does an admirable job in outlining the challenges that await Comrade Urkel when he moves into the Oval Office. This is the key statement:
Building a political base requires modifying one’s agenda. But when you start modifying your agenda, when you become pragmatic, you start to lose your supporters.
And then Stratfor goes on to outline just how difficult that will be, just in the foreign policy arena. Read the whole piece, and tell me that the outcome will not be spectacular, Carteresque failure.
