I note with extreme sadness that Brother Bane has passed away.
In his time, he was as irritable, angry and curmudgeonly as I ever was, and mostly, twice as acerbic and choleric. I should point out that the “Brother” nickname I bestowed on him was a term of deep affection for the old bugger, and our email correspondence would fill volumes.
Go and pay your respects, and help out his family if you can. Three days in the ICU would bankrupt Donald Trump, and Bane’s family needs assistance.
I’m going to miss him.
