I haven’t heard anything more from Mikal Vik and the other 3/2 kids, so I put the first care package together yesterday, flying blind as it were.
Man, $500 just doesn’t go as far as it used to, even at Sam’s Club. Healthcare items cost a fortune, but unfortunately, it’s the healthcare stuff they need the most. (It’s almost enough to make me want to support HillaryCare… okay, I lie. Nothing could make me do that.)
We’re doing okay for funds right now, but if you want to pop a few $$$ into the 3/2 Fund (button is on the right of the page), all contributions are gratefully received. Any day, I might get an urgent email saying ”Help! We broke one of the Nightforce scopes! Please send a replacement!”
Reminder: The 3/2 Fund is being run through the Nation of Volunteers/Nation of Riflemen, so the funds go straight to the kids, minus the packaging and USPS pound of flesh shipping costs.
